After check-in, you will have time to relax and recover from your journey. In the evening, we will provide a short trip briefing and discuss the upcoming Himalayan Monal Tour Nepal itinerary. This region is one of the best habitats for the Himalayan Monal, Nepal’s national bird. Along the route, we explore alpine forests, rhododendron areas, and mountain habitats where we search for Himalayan birds, including pheasants, mountain finches, and other high-altitude species. The route passes through beautiful forests, traditional Sherpa villages, suspension bridges, and diverse Himalayan habitats. This final trekking day provides another opportunity to observe and photograph a variety of mountain birds with our expert local birding guide. We keep an eye out for Himalayan pheasants, colorful forest birds, and other species of the Everest Region while enjoying the peaceful landscapes. Upon arrival at Manthali, we begin our drive back to Kathmandu through beautiful countryside roads, passing terraced fields, rivers, hills, and traditional villages. After reaching Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel for rest and relaxation. The evening is free to explore the vibrant streets of Kathmandu or enjoy a farewell dinner celebrating the successful completion of your Himalayan Monal Tour Nepal. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, we drive to Phulchowki Hill, the highest hill surrounding Kathmandu Valley and one of Nepal’s most popular birdwatching destinations. The lush subtropical and temperate forests of Phulchowki provide excellent habitat for a wide variety of Himalayan birds. With our expert local birding guide, we explore forest trails searching for colorful species such as the Himalayan Cutia, Yellow-browed Tit, Rufous-bellied Niltava, Mountain Hawk-Eagle, and many other forest birds. The area also offers great photography opportunities and beautiful views of the Kathmandu Valley and surrounding mountains. After a rewarding full-day birdwatching experience, we return to Kathmandu.
