Depending on your arrival time, explore the lively streets of Thamel or relax after your international journey. In the evening, meet your wildlife guide for a detailed briefing about the photography tour, camera settings, safari expectations, and wildlife safety before enjoying your overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Take an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj before driving approximately two hours to Bardia National Park. After checking into Babai Resort, enjoy lunch and an orientation walk around the lodge. Learn about tiger habitats, photography techniques, and wildlife behavior while exploring nearby grasslands. Finish the day with a beautiful sunset over the Karnali floodplain before dinner and overnight at Babai Resort.

Spend an exciting full day exploring Bardia National Park by private jeep. Travel through dense Sal forests, grasslands, riverbanks, and remote wildlife habitats searching for Bengal Tigers. Along the way photograph One-horned Rhinoceros, Wild Elephants, Spotted Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Boar, Marsh Mugger Crocodiles, numerous birds, and perhaps even Leopards. Your experienced guide will position the vehicle for the best photographic opportunities throughout the safari.

Today's adventure focuses on tracking wildlife on foot with experienced naturalists and local trackers. Walking quietly through the forest provides unique opportunities to photograph wildlife from natural perspectives. Search for fresh tiger pugmarks, alarm calls, birds, deer, monkeys, reptiles, butterflies, and smaller mammals. The slower pace allows photographers to capture intimate wildlife behavior and beautiful forest landscapes before returning to Babai Resort.

After breakfast, depart Bardia and drive to the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha. Upon arrival, check into Buddha Garden Resort before visiting the peaceful Lumbini Development Zone, Maya Devi Temple, monasteries built by different countries, and tranquil gardens. The evening provides wonderful opportunities for cultural photography and sunset images around the monasteries before an overnight stay in Lumbini.

Leave early for Jagdishpur Reservoir, Nepal's largest man-made wetland and an internationally recognized bird habitat. Photograph resident and migratory birds including storks, kingfishers, herons, ducks, raptors, and many waterbirds. The wetlands offer outstanding opportunities for bird photography throughout the morning. Later return to Lumbini for an overnight stay before your flight to Kathmandu the following day.
